Near-End-of-Life Notification
MultiTech has been a leader in the analog modem business since 1970. We truly value the long term partnerships we have formed over the past 49+ years delivering the industry’s most comprehensive analog modem portfolio. The vendor that supplies the chip sets necessary to build the analog products listed in this announcement has decided to exit this segment of their business forcing MultiTech to start planning for an End-of-Life. Due to the discontinuation of these critical components, the analog modems and adapters listed in this announcement are changing status from Active to Near-End-of-Life (NEOL) effective immediately. While recommended replacement products are available for certain models, they are not feature-for-feature compatible. It is important to note that the MT5656ZDX is not a drop in replacement for Out of Band Management applications.
